Junior Sous chef- GBP29-30,000 7 shifts per week

Our client is a leading British restaurant and has won many awards for the quality of food and service

They are seeking a dynamic junior Sous chef with career stability to be part of the management team running a busy high volume British restaurant with a team of over 20 chefs

Taking the role of Junior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for:

- Assisting the sous and Head Chef maintain the budgeted GP

- Driving standards, training and supporting the brigade

- There will also be great scope for creativity, with regular seasonal British menu changes

The right candidate will need to have experience and knowledge:

- Food & beverage ordering & stock control systems

- Be qualified in hygiene level certificates

- Be able to assist in food costings and consistency

- Able to assist in writing kitchen rotas

- Be able to take control of the kitchen in the chefs absence

- General practices in running and maintaining a busy kitchen at 2AA rosettes

- Good food knowledge and cooking styles to suit this restaurants ethos

- Must have reputable experience in a similar standard of restaurant

- Will be able to give and also receive clear instructions from the head chef on duties and expectations

- To be able to assist on all sections of the kitchen when required

Junior Sous chef- up to GBP30,000 7 shifts per week
