We require Casual Food Services Assistants to complement the SCR, Hall and Bar teams in order to ensure that an excellent food and drink service is provided to all College users. Hours will vary but are likely to be between 20-25 per week, with more available during busy periods. Duties will include all aspects of Hall, SCR and Bar service of food and drinks to students and conference guests. Key areas of responsibility include: cellar management and security of stock, stock taking, cash handling and keeping the areas clean, neat and tidy.

You will be required to maintain good order in the Hall, SCR and Bar areas and adhere to licensing law in relation to the sale of alcohol. In addition, you will support the Butler in supervising other members of staff.

To be successful, you will have previous experience of working in a catering role, waiting and/or bar work. In addition, you will possess good organisational skills, excellent customer service, good communication and interpersonal skills, be of smart appearance, personable and able to converse fluently in English.

In this role, you will be expected to work on a roster basis including some evenings and weekends.
