We are looking for you to join our experienced Sales team at our HQ in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire. The site is accessible by all public transport links including direct bus routes, local train station and is only 10 miles from Glasgow City Centre.

Location: Orbital House, 3 Redwood Crescent, East Kilbride, G74 5PA

Hours on offer: Full time or Part time

Salary on offer: £16,477 to £18,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission (Full time) – Starting rate of £8.45 per hour (Part time).

Start Date: Monday 2nd October 2017

Training: 1 weeks training will be provided by ScottishPower (Mandatory full time attendance for both full time and part time. All training must be completed)

Experience Required : 6 months plus within a targeted sales / call centre sales environment

Shifts Available:

Full time – Monday to Thursday, 12pm – 8.30pm, Friday 10am – 4pm with occasional Saturday shifts

Part time – Monday to Thursday, 4.30pm – 8.30pm, Friday 12pm – 4pm with occasional Saturday shifts available for over time. Flexible days on offer.


As a Telesales Advisor, you will be contacting residential customers by phone to promote Energy services as well as G&E products on behalf of ScottishPower.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities include:

Potentialise, prioritise and proactively maximise all sales opportunities from outbound/cold calls.
Promoting the key benefits and unique selling points of the product.
Supporting profitable sales growth by meeting quality sales targets.
Develop a sound knowledge of customer needs, competitor activity and company products and resources.
Deliver exceptional levels of customer service at all times.
Work to achieve pre-agreed sales and growth quality targets/KPIs.


To be a suitable candidate for this position you will demonstrate the following skill set:
