To provide quality accounting and auditing services to clients within the Charity Team. The successful candidate will be able to commence earlier and start their AAT training in January 2018.

Start date: January 2018

Qualifications we are looking for:
1. Excellent GCSE’s with a minimum of a B grade in English and Maths, or equivalent
2. A minimum of 300 UCAS points (120 using the new tariff) or equivalent.
3. The right to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of their training contract.
NOTE: Ideally, we are looking for recent school leavers and non-graduates for the role.

Outline:

Start date: January 2018

Location: (nearest station) St Paul's, London

Primary responsibilities:
1. Audit and Accounts
i. To act as a trainee auditor in the Charity Team, working with a wide range of not-forprofit organisations, including charities (social, religious, welfare, international development, healthcare etc) and educational organisations (independent schools, government funded schools, colleges and universities).

ii. To carry out all audit work, in compliance with the firm’s and statutory procedures.

iii. To prepare accounts, including consolidated accounts, from accounting records.

iv. To provide general accounting services and assistance to clients in the preparation of accounts, for example preparing working papers.

v. To recommend improvements to the clients’ accounting systems and controls and assisting clients whenever needed.

vi. To complete ad hoc advisory services to the firm’s not-for-profit sector clients as the need arises.

Hours: 9am to 5:30pm, weekdays
