The Role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to assist our General Manager at our popular coffee outlet Starbucks at Glasgow Airport. As an Assistant Manager of a world famous coffee brand, Starbucks, you will have full ownership of the store's performance and be responsible for delivering operational and financial results together with driving high standards in customer service. As a Manager, you will also be responsible for managing, motivating and developing your team (15 people), recruiting, training and managing performance. to deliver fantastic results. The airport is exciting and will challenge your management skills across the 24 hour trading in peak season and manage the quieter times whilst maintaining excellent levels of quality in product and service and controlling the P&L

The Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to have great skills in leading a team, preferably from a similar background such as a branded coffee or bakery shop and have a passion for great coffee. Ultimately you'll help coach and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service, whilst meeting financial and operational targets. Please note successful candidates are required to undergo a full 5-year reference and criminal record check to comply with airport security regulations.
