We are now recruiting Head Chefs for our superb chalet hotels located in top European ski resorts for the coming ski season (November to May).

These are family driven hotels catering for up to 120 residents + staff. The kitchen serves breakfast, afternoon tea and an evening meal. Menus are modern European cuisine, gastro pub style and include full English or continental breakfast, children’s menu and 3 course Table d’Hote supper.

As Head Chef you will be responsible, and accountable for, all aspects of the day to day running of your kitchen reporting directly to the Hotel Manager.

Main Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility of the daily running of the kitchen
• Ensure high culinary standards and presentation of foods at all times for guests and staff
• Manage food purchasing, storage, stock control & wastage
• Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen
• Develop and create new recipes and menus
• Liaise with local suppliers
• Manage budgets whilst maintaining high standards
• Train, monitor, manage and motivate your team to encourage their best performance
• Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and legislation


We are looking for enthusiastic customer focused professional chefs with strong all round kitchen skills, good management experience and the ability to motivate and mentor your team. You must be capable of working within the company budget. Previous experience in a similar ski hotel would be an advantage.

Essential Requirements
• Health & Safety Food Hygiene certificates
• 1 years’ experience managing a kitchen
• Implement HACCP procedures
• UK/EU Passport holder
• UK National Insurance Number
• UK bank account

Salary: £250 net per week + end of season bonus
