Data and SIMS Manager

An academy based in Sutton is looking to appoint a talented and committed individual with the qualities and skills to fulfil a Data Information Systems managers position
Interested applicant will be required to manage and overlook the Academy's Management
Information System; to perform analysis of data to aid key decision making about teaching and learning; manage and maintain assessment data to enable reports to parents, feedback to staff and provide the Academy Leadership Team with summary reports to inform decision making.
Experience of using SIMS is essential for this role as you will be required to us it to: identify all prior attainment information for pupils at the Academy including KS1 - KS4 data; you will be responsible for the correlation of statistical reports for Examinations results and develop and lead training for staff on how to use the Management Information System.
You must have a good first degree; excellent organisational and administrative skills; excellent working speed and the ability to prioritise; experience of and excellent knowledge in using MS Word and MS Excel; excellent communications and interpersonal skills; and be highly numerate and competent with statistical analysis. Experience in a similar role or educational environment and experience of SIMS is highly desirable.
To be considered for this position you must have SIMS and previous experience in a similar role.
This Data and SIMS Manager position is available on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday) initially on a temporary basis with the few of it becoming permanent for right person.
