** 1:1 Teaching Assistant support for year 1 boy presenting with behavioural difficulties
** Long Term contract from January 2018 to July 2018
**Would suit a recent graduate looking for SEN Teaching Assistant role before training to be a teacher
** Would also suit experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with experience of KS1 boys presenting with behavioural difficulties

The successful Teaching Assistant will be joining is a medium-sized primary school in East London that has been judged outstanding by Ofsted. The staff team are well-established and the school enjoys low staff turnover due to the supportive ethos that has been developed by the senior leadership team.
Please be aware that applicants for this Teaching Assistant role must have previous experience working with Key Stage 1 children presenting with behavioral difficulties/ADHD. The boy is bright but finds it difficult to focus and engage in his learning, you must be confident in your ability to build a relationship with him and settle into the class. You must also be able to commit until the end of the academic year.
This Teaching Assistant role will suit a recent graduate looking to get into teaching in the future; it will also suit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for another long term role in primary school setting. It is essential that you are a strong communicator, as you'll need to be able to communicate well both with the child, the class teacher and the child's mother. Patience and creativity are also a necessity for the role!
