Are you a dedicated Marketing Manager looking for a new opportunity?

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Marketing function across our whole group.

Roles and Responsibilities

Daily management and development of direct reports on a daily basis. To include but not limited to;

* Ensuring the team meets and surpasses the minimum objectives and standards of performance and any other company KPI's.
* To ensure all Marketing pre-determined KPI's are met in line with current strategies
* To develop and maintain relationships with peers within our group and our group of companies.
* To manage the recruitment process and all aspects of HR.
* To assist the Group Head of Trading as and when required.
* To devise, implement, monitor and execute strategic marking plans across our group.
* To develop and improve all facets of the group marketing function by means of print, positive PR and social media/electronic means.
* To identify future market trends through product and market intelligence.
* To create and plan effective campaigns.
* To monitor and evaluate sales figures for the business.
* Manage all aspects of administration within the marketing departments to ensure accurate records are kept and maintained.
* Gain a clear and concise understanding of our customer's businesses and product requirements.
* Represent the group during exhibitions, trade shows and events as required.
* Create annual strategic plans to drive sales and sales opportunities.
* Plan and execute actions to develop and nurture relationships with key contacts within both direct and indirect channels, in order to increase sales.
* Ensuring records, data and information are constantly updated and used to exploit market potential. To produce monthly reports, analyse and present at the relevant meetings.
* To manage all aspects of the administrative areas to ensure accurate records are kept.
* To work closely with the trading team members, Purchasing, Internal Sales, Inventory Control and External Sales, as well as all areas of the business.
* To act as an ambassador for the company, seeking to promote the company's services wherever and to whomever possible.
* To develop, implement and maintain appropriate standards of operation, consistent with the company's guidelines, legislation and safety.
* Continually improve the effectiveness of the Sales & Marketing departments.
* To ensure that all personnel follow procedures and works instructions.
* To ensure all direct reports are communicated with, motivated and trained effectively through regular 1-2-1's and appraisals.
* To present to senior management when required.

* IT literate in Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, publisher and Adobe Photoshop.
