A great opportunity for a Strong Chef de Partie with potential to step up to Sous Chef. This characteristic and historic public house has a friendly and established team. The owners are keen to provide good English food at consistently high standards. Main duties and responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals
• Be responsible for all dishes that are prepared in your section
• Be very organised and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment
• Have excellent attention to detail and be able to deliver consistency
• Reliably carry out orders handed down to you by the Head Chef
• Working with the kitchen team to maintain high compliance for all food prepared and produced
• Observe all Company Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies
• Be aware of current food trends with regard to presentation and style and offer suggestions with new menu ideas and menu design
