My client is looking for a talented and proactive Fabric Technician to join their team in the North West. The Fabric Maintenance Technician will be required to carry out a range of fabric/building infrastructure maintenance services within a number of buildings and sites across their North West contracts.


The Fabric Technician will carry out a range of building fabric maintenance services to include skilled joining, flooring, roofing, basic concreting and other general building maintenance.


* The ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in line with the position. Ideally you will possess Fabric Building maintenance expertise within the Facilities Management industry and demonstrate a flexible approach to your work as and when the business needs dictate.
* Joinery
* Full UK Drivers License
* IPAF or Fork Lift Truck Licence (Would be an advantage)
* Bricklaying
* Flooring tiling, ceramic or quarry type tiling
* Concreting
* Plaster patch repairs
* Groundworks experience
* Small excavation, breaking surface (an accreditation of some training in excavation would be desirable)
* Small roofing repairs
* Fire door and general door maintenance (Audits/Recording Faults/Assessing and ordering parts/Conducting Repairs
* Abrasive Wheels Certificate
* Basic knowledge of Risk Assessment/Safe Systems

This is a great opportunity to work for one of the countries leading facilities management providers, you will receive a salary of £23,000 to £26,000 (negotiable for the right candidate) and a fantastic benefits package.
