Paid Funding Bid Writer – (approx. 4-5 hours per week, £10 an hour flexible, including evenings and weekends to fit around your spare time, including home working).

True access is a non-profit organisation our aim is to increase the life quality of young adults aged (18-38) with mild to moderate learning disabilities and other health conditions living in Richmond, Kingston, Hounslow , Ealing and surroundings.

Our company offers exciting access to night clubbing events, workshops, activities day trips, weekenders and group holidays.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy life whether they have a disability or not. We understand the types of challenges and discrimination faced in life and we aim to increase awareness of how these challenges can be overcome through workshops guest speakers and our events.
To help us become sustainable and provide further consistency in these times of hardship and change, we are seeking a competent, reliable and motivated self-starter with good sound funding bid writing experience, ideally within charities but not essential who can lead on sourcing, writing, pulling together and developing funding applications that will ensure we can access funding for our continued work and development.

You MUST be able to use your initiative, working independently, with little supervision, able to get things done quickly and efficiently and able to lead from the front, in pulling together bids with the assistance and support of our volunteer team.

We are especially in need of raising at least £80,000 per year for our organisation to be able to do the great work we do and need someone who can help us either with small or large bids that would add up to this amount.

True Access will work with the successful individual to support them throughout the duration of the post to develop their professional and personal skills and gaining on the job experience within a social enterprise, though the applicant will be required to be a self starter and able to be thrown into the deep end and get started immediately to support us with the changes we are aiming to make.
