Gumtree now makes it easy for buyers to receive certain items,via home delivery or by collecting them from a local Store or Locker, without needing to arrange a meet up, a collection service or source their own delivery service.
Buyers are responsible for:
- Ensuring their delivery address is correct before purchasing the item.
- Paying the delivery charges for the item. These are automatically calculated and added to the order.
- Paying for Buyer Protection. This charge is automatically calculated and added to the order. See Buyer Protection Policy for more details.
- Collecting their item within the carrier’s specified timeframe (typically 3 calendar days for a Locker and 7 days for a Store) if ‘Delivery to Store’ or ‘Locker’ was selected. Failure to collect may result in the item being returned to the seller.
Once buyers complete their order, sellers have 7 calendar days to package and send the item.
