Gumtree is partnering with Mangopay, a licensed and regulated financial institution, to act as our payment service provider for eligible items purchased through our payment and delivery services.
Mangopay is responsible for securely processing all buyer payments, holding funds in a virtual wallet during the transaction, and managing the final payout to the seller’s bank account.
All payment and bank account information is collected securely and sent directly to our payment service provider, Mangopay. Gumtree does not store full credit/debit card numbers or bank account details.
Instead, these are tokenized by Mangopay for security. All processing is handled in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). For more information, please see the Mangopay privacy policy.
