Volvo XC90
Volvo breathed fresh life into their line-up when they first unveiled the XC90 in 2002. This first-gen had everything going for it, including superb looks, comfortable interiors and excellent handling. Volvo did it again with the 2014 revamp, amplifying everything that was good about the first-gen and adding in top-line tech, massage seats and improved emissions. The engine options all have an attractive balance of reliability, power and efficiency – just what you’d want from a car in this segment. All in all, the XC90 represents everything that a family all-rounder should be.
