Volvo C30
Looking for a small, three-door hatchback – or coupe, according to Volvo – that’s a little bit different? The unique looks of the Swedish manufacturer’s C30 may just fit the bill. Though it doesn’t quite hit the style highs of the VW Scirocco in combining coupe and hatchback looks, it’s distinctive and has more going for it than just looks. It’s comfortable (if not overly roomy), it drives well and the engine choices include efficient diesels with low emissions. Of course, as it’s a Volvo, there’s also a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
