Renault Twingo
Starting life as a supermini city car in the mid ’90s, the Renault Twingo was sold in the UK until 2019 and had three generations in its lifetime. It’s known for its nippy engines and light steering, making it perfect for inner-city driving. The rear wheel drive of the Twingo is unusual for its class, but there are some great benefits to having the engine positioned beneath the boot, including its incredibly tight turning circle. Three petrol engines and multiple trims are on offer, as well as a sporty GT version. If you’re looking for a small runaround for use in built-up areas, the Twingo could be the right choice for you.
