Mazda’s ability to deliver high-quality performance and sleek design continues with their mid-size SUV, the CX-5. The latest iteration refines previous versions, with reduced noise and vibrations as well as a more spacious interior. It’s available in the UK as a petrol or diesel engine, both as a 2.0-litre and 2.2-litre – where you can expect a range between 148 bhp and 180 bhp, depending on the trim. The handling on the latest model is greatly improved compared to previous iterations thanks to Mazda’s G-Vectoring Control, which re-distributes torque from front to rear axels while cornering to keep you fixed firmly to the road. A competent mid-size SUV that delivers comfort, style and a smooth drive.
