Ford Edge
After a long absence from the SUV market, Ford re-entered the fray in 2007 with the Edge. This mid-size crossover SUV is available with a choice of four trims, two diesel engines and a range of tempting tech. All versions offer a family car with generous interior space and a massive boot. A 2019 refit aimed to move the car upmarket to compete with the likes of the Audi Q5, featuring a more refined interior. Although it doesn’t seat seven like many of its rivals, the Ford Edge offers plenty of room and comfort for five with lots of luggage.
