Terms and Conditions
1. All adults over 18 are eligible to enter the promotion with the
exception of any employees and families of Gumtree.com Limited, its affiliates,
subsidiary companies ("Gumtree"), any representatives or agents of those
companies and anyone else who may be professionally involved with the
promotion.
2. The promotion begins at 00:00:01 GMT on 1 October 2007 and finishes at
23:59:59 GMT on 30th November 2007 ("Promotional Period").
3. To enter: visit the gumtree.com/vipweekend URL, and enter your email
address when prompted. No purchase is necessary.
4. The entrants can enter once during the promotion period.
5. The prize is as stipulated subject to ticket availability. In the
event of non-availability a suitable alternative of similar value will be
offered.
6. The prize is not transferable.
7. A prize draw will take place on 01 December 2007.
8. The winner of the prize draw will be the individual whose name is
selected at random from all the valid entries received.
9. The winner will be notified by email to the email address provided when
entering within 10 working days of the prize draw taking place.
10. The prize will be sent to the winner within 20 working days of
notification.
11. Gumtree may ask the winner to provide proof of identity and age.
12. The winner’s name and county will be available by sending a stamped,
self addressed envelope (SSAE) to Mark Riley, P.O. Box 659, Richmond Upon
Thames, Surrey TW9 1TX.
13. Gumtree may disqualify any entrant that does not act in accordance with
these terms and conditions or Gumtree's rules and policies. If Gumtree has
suspicions or knowledge that any entrant has been involved in any fraudulent or
illegal activity, Gumtree reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and any
related entrants.
14. Entries or the prize may be withdrawn by Gumtree from entrants using
the promotion in a way in which Gumtree deems inappropriate at its sole
discretion.
15. In the event of circumstances arising outside of Gumtree's control,
which in Gumtree's opinion make it necessary to suspend, change or cancel the
promotion, Gumtree reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the
promotion at any time. This includes the ability to substitute any prize of
equivalent value, change the specification of the prize if circumstances
require it or change the entry methods.
16. English Law governs this promotion.
17. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
18. Gumtree shall not be liable, in contract or tort (including negligence)
or the breach of statutory duty or in any other way, for the loss or damage
howsoever arising suffered by the entrant resulting directly or indirectly from
entry to this promotion. Nothing in these terms shall limit Gumtree's liability
for death, personal injury or fraud. |
