5 yr old Lurcher Lady looking for new home
Highland

Sorry, this ad is no longer available.

Holly is a Lurcher, approx. 5 years old and was found just before Christmas, tied up to a bus stop outside of Aberdeen. She was briefly rehomed, living with another dog she didn't get along with. Then she was back to the Scottish SPCA. That's where I met her around 10 weeks ago and adopted her straight away.

She is such a darling, loves her cuddles, is getting more and more playful and loves her walks. She is very good on her lead, is a great traveller (train, bus, car) and knows her basic commands. She is also housetrained.

Holly loves people, especially women, and gets along with most men. She's not too keen on other dogs (how did she ever live with one!?) but got better over the past few weeks. Due to her natural hunting instinct (she might have been used for hunting in her previous life), any small animals (especially rabbits) could be regarded as dinner so she would have to be rehomed as a single pet.

Ideally she'd find a home where she has company most of the day and it's not too busy. I thoroughly believe that her 'issues' can be sorted but the training will take time. Due to a change in circumstances I can no longer take her to work.

She's spayed, micro-chipped, fully vaccinated, recently de-wormed and got a general vet check about 2 weeks ago. She's a healthy lass.

I would be delighted to remain in Holly's life, dog-sit or take her for weekends. It breaks my heart to let her go but I need to make the decision that is best for her.
