We are on the scout for a Front End Web Developer to join the digital team at our Derby based creative agency. Formed just two years ago by one man and his dog, there are now six in the team and we are seeking lucky number seven to come along for the ride...with the windows down and the system up.
 
It's a fun, sociable and energetic environment to flex your muscles in and personality plays a big part in how we work. Those that present a jolly smile, bags of enthusiasm and an open mind are generally a good fit in our studio.

The general role is to work along side the lead developer and often independently in creating SME websites for a diverse range of industry sectors. There are plenty of opportunities to unleash some creative flair under the guiding wing of the Creative Director and design team. So a keen eye for design is certainly a bonus.

The core technical skills required to become eligible for the position are as follows;

- Proficient in HTML/CSS/JQuery/Javascript.
- Experience in using the latest Creative Suite software is essential. (Predominantly Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Knowledge of PHP Developing and working within existing templates is essential.
- Experience and solid understanding of Joomla and Wordpress CMS.
- Must have good understanding of modern web standards, SEO and accessibility.

This is a permanent full time position, we are not looking for freelancers at this time.
