Graphite is an independent digital media agency based near the Pier in Brighton. We are passionate about creating high quality and effective digital media for our clients - a list now including Costa, Pfizer, Fujitsu, Coffee Nation and AstraZeneca.

We are seeking to expand our design capability with a Senior Web Designer who is versatile and experienced in web and mobile design, and brings along a good understanding of usability best practice and accessibility standards.

In the role you will be expected to produce wireframes, user interface designs and to lend a hand with HTML/CSS template amends too. The projects you'll be working on will include high-end corporate websites, mobile apps and interactive applications, and so the ideal candidate for this role will have plenty of corporate and high-end brand web experience.

This role may be fulfilled full-time or a committed freelancer.

Responsibilities:
Working as part of our creative team, you will produce web and user interface designs of an very high standard. You'll be expected to:
• Take an active role in concept brainstorms
• Work closely within a team to produce high quality UI designs
• Accurately estimate time necessary to complete projects
• Self-manage your tasks and time

Requirements
• 3+ years experience in web-design for blue-chip clients
• Proficient with Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong artistic abilities
• Excellent understanding of web design concepts, trends and opportunities

Desirable
• Located in Brighton
• A quick thinker and a fast worker

The ideal candidate will
• Be passionate about quality design and able to critique design with ease
• Aware of the industry news and changes
• Able to code HTML/CSS
