Drake and Morgan, a Privately-Owned, Dynamic Bar and Restaurant Company located within the City of London, Bankside and Canary Wharf are looking for a Senior Reservationist and a Host

Our pre-booked, events and functions business, is a hugely important part of what we do. We have some amazing locations, beautiful bars and dining spaces, and a strong list of corporate and private clients who enjoy entertaining within our vibrant venues.

Were looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focussed person to be part of a very busy team at The Anthologist and ensure that our pre-booked, pre-ordered and events business goes from strength to strength. Your main responsibilities are:
Income Generation
• Develop marketing and sales strategies to promote D&M Corporate Bookings and Events and so generate incremental sales for the group and individual locations.
• Increasing awareness of D&M private hire and corporate events using contacts and networking in order to gain market share from competitors
• Generate new sales leads and follow through to proposal stage
• Convert potential sales leads to confirmed events
• Ensure that tactics and plans are delivered on time and that budgeted revenues are achieved and exceeded
• Establish and grow customer and client database and use subsequent data for effective tactical and strategic marketing.
• Prepare business reports to be available for General Manager, Operations Manager and Head of Reservations.Contribute to and attend weekly company Sales and Events and Customer Service meetings and provide management information and customer feedback data, upon which to make sound business decisions.
• Promote Christmas and Olympics packages to new and existing clients using existing database and pursuing new potential clients.
• Promote Out-catering events – i.e. pop up bars / canapés functions
• Establish contact with both new and former clients to generate new income streams and convert.
• Attend related off-site / client meetings as required
• Attend networking events proactively to build awareness of Drake and Morgan events and corporate hire.
• All new and existing client contacts to be recorded with all relevant contact details and details of discussions and next steps

Customer and Client Relationships
• Ensure that all incoming enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally, and deliver a high level of conversion from enquiry to firm booking.
• Ensure that customer requirements are clearly communicated to relevant departments, to ensure that our customer experience is exceptional.

You will have worked within a similar customer and client-facing role, within a high volume, quality, hospitality operation. All applicants will have already worked within a restaurant and bar environment and you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills essential as we are looking for applicants who are able to interact freely with the team and delight customers in service.
