Do you have spare time to help volunteer for our campaign?

The campaign raises awareness of the social impacts of gambling and betting shops since laws in favour of the gambling industry were changed in 2005. (Gambling act 2005)
We are also trying to get the law changed on how betting shops can operate.

Since the act was passed in 2005, betting shops have appeared all over our town centres and high streets. Betting shops too have changed a lot since then and the way they operate and advertise and this had let to a certain rise in numbers of problem gambling.

Betting shops don't just cause problems for problem gamblers. With today's betting shops causing so many to become addicted, betting shops are now known to cause higher crime rates and anti-social behaviour.

At our campaign, we’re not just preaching nor are we exaggerating. It was set up by an ex-gambling addict that saw the high numbers of people of all ages falling prey to betting shops, on a daily basis.

We are looking for people that can offer whatever time and skills they have to help the campaign.
