We are a new charity organisation looking for someone with IT/Graphics/Creative Design experience who can help us with setting up and expanding our NGO. We are working for children and young people in Africa to improve their quality of lives by increasing access to comprehensive primary health care, escaping bonds of poverty and hopelessness by providing education, life skills, values and a caring environment that will empower them to successfully move into the mainstream of society.

We are ideally looking for a minimum commitment of two days per week as we have a lot to organize and design as we seek to establish our brand and create interest in what we are doing. Although this will be an unpaid role (as all our funding is used for good causes!) we are willing to provide good references and you can keep samples of your work for your own portfolio. Any work undertaken on our website will be a great showcase for your talents.

Unfortunately because of the type of organisation we are we have had many people come and go which we appreciate as we know people have other commitments but we really need a dedicated individual to join us so that our brand can maintain consistency and professionalism. We are particularly interested in getting our monthly Newsletter designed as soon as possible (we provide the content and work on ideas together), so if you have previous experience that would be very advantageous. Please send us examples of your work! Other beneficial skills include leaflet design, website design, marketing and advertising experience and general IT support. It is a really exciting time for us and we are already generating lots of exciting feedback (please check out our social networking sites: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Global-Life-Changers/300181303339581 and https://twitter.com/glc_onward). We are looking forward to having a new team member who has a passion for our cause and really wants to make a difference.

Those without experience in this particular field but can contribute meaningfully in other area should feel free to apply as well. The work will be from home as we do not have paid offices.
