We are looking for exceptional individuals to volunteer as Brand Ambassadors for the premium charity retail concept, Mary's Living & Giving Shop for Save the Children. You should have a good knowledge of fashion, a charming telephone manner and a passion for people. Ambitious individuals are especially welcome.
Brand Ambassadors are key in securing the high quality designer donations our customers have come to love and expect. You will be asked to:
Assist the Chief Brand Ambassador in the procurement and tracking of stock and keeping meticulous records of all contacts made
Generate your own leads with regards to product donations - knowledge of up-and-coming as well as premium brands
Assist with all in-store event activities, offering support with event planning and execution
Support the PR team and provide general office assistance
There is scope for this role to grow.
Precise hours and length of commitment by agreement but ideally, we are looking for people that can commit to a minimum of three days a week for at least three months.
In return we promise you will receive the experience of a lifetime! The role will put you into contact with some of the worlds leading fashion houses and PRs. It is a great way to build up your contacts whilst helping one of the worlds leading childrens charities.

Mary Portas has been supporting Save the Children since February 2009 and through the partnership she has re-vitalised Charity retailing as shown in the Marys Queen of Charity shops show that was aired on TV. In Nov 2009, Mary opened her first permanent Marys Living and Giving Shop for Save the Children in Stockbridge, Edinburgh. Westbourne Grove, London shop opened in May 2010 with Primrose Hill, London shop opening sooner after in December 2010, and in July 2011 we opened our fourth shop in Parsons Green, London.
Mary wanted to create a shop which was 'alive'. Where a group of like-minded volunteers and consumers create a place (a bustling market) where designer brands and people donate their products, time, homegrown and handmade goods to create the ever-changing fresh and vibrant
