This is an unpaid internship for 12 weeks. Your travel expenses will be reimbursed. It would be beneficial if you had a portable computer and access to InDesign.

Cancer Support Scotland is looking for a graphic designer to help design and create materials to support a major Fundraising Appeal it is currently running. On satisfactory completion of your internship we will supply you with a written reference.

This will see you create materials including:
• Appeal brochures
• Appeal leaflets
• Service marketing materials
• Newsletters
• Fundraising materials – collection boxes, banners
• Advertisements

You will also get the opportunity to have hands on experience of creating and expanding our new Brand and will work alongside the fundraising team to help them deliver appropriate support materials.

We will allow you to negotiate with suppliers and liaise with our stakeholders to ensure publications and materials are delivered on time.

Main Responsibilities
To work with the fundraising team to produce a range of supporting materials.
To work within our current Brand guidelines to insure there is consistency of materials.
To contact our stakeholders and negotiate price, ensuring the charity is getting value for money.
To produce materials to budget and timescales as dictated.
To work to a design brief, this may be given verbally or written
To widely consult within the organization ensuring clients, supporters views are taken into account
