British Red Cross have asked us to find them equally committed and passionate people who want to be part of this exciting work. We are about to set up 2 teams to go out in London fundraising directly with members of the public, we also need 2 experienced team leaders. If you want to become a British Red Cross street fundraiser, or chuggers (charity huggers) as they are often known, and have exceptional communication skills plus a huge desire to help their vital work, then we would love to hear from you.
As a street fundraiser, during your probationary period (4 weeks) all fundraisers are paid £8.50 per hour and after a month you can get a pay rise if you are hitting your targets!
Other inspiring benefits street fundraisers with the British Red Cross can expect include:
- Pay review conducted every three months and pay rises awarded subject to performance.
- Weekly pay plus bonus if you are hitting your targets.
- Welcome workshop and regular training updates.
- Holiday pay – for every hour you work we give you an extra £1 plus.
- Travel paid for outside of London.
