We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Administration/Customer Services Officer to work as part of a small housing organisation based in Chelmsford, Essex.
The organisation is ideally for looking for someone who is able to drive to the site, as there are not many transport links available close by (but this is not an essential requirement).
PLEASE NOTE: Interviews for this post will take place in the organisations head offices in North West London.
Our client is looking to interview on Tuesday/Wednesday of week commencing 12th March 2012 and would ideally like to have the candidate in the post by the end of that week – therefore we cannot look at applications of those who must provide notice to their current place of work or those who are not available to interview immediately.

Hourly Rate: £8.80 per hour + holiday pay (12.07% of hours worked) (PAYE)
Hours of Work: 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Duration: 3-4 months with a likely extension at the end of this period

Duties within the role will include:
- Answering calls, liaising with Maintenance Operatives & Technicians, residents of the organisation and a variety of Housing staff.
- Responding to resident queries and redirecting their query to the appropriate team when you are not able to assist.
- Placing orders for Maintenance Operatives and Grounds Staff.
- Data Entry and Invoicing, (although this will not be a large percentage of the role).
- Providing administration support to the team.

Level Entry Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Must have experience providing administration support to a team (ideally within a Social Housing environment but this is not essential).
- Must have a good standard of ICT skills including experience managing Data within Microsoft Excel.
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and have experience handling customer enquiries and complaints.
- Able to work as part of a small team and support others within the team as the need arises.
- A driving licence and own vehicle are desirable but not essential.
