Overview
GSTs aim is to become the UKs leading provider of websites for sole traders and small businesses. As Yellow Pages becomes increasingly irrelevant and over 85% of people source tradesman and services via the internet, the need for a website is huge.
Whilst this is a clear telesales role, you will be selling a service that will genuinely help sole traders get more business and increase their profile and professionalism. You can be proud of what you are promoting. In our initial trial, we gained 160 customers and all of them are happy with their websites and the service we offer. We have already attracted PR in the Daily Telegraph, Sunday Times and Moneywise. Our sister company is called Sole Trader Forum and this will develop and expand to become the leading networking and work sharing site for sole traders in the UK, with considerable scope for additional revenue.

Work environment
We have an excellent office in Angel, London. It is a serviced office on Brittania Road, famous for being the home of Pink Floyds recording and production studios, with very good facilities (Showers, Kitchen and Roof Terrace) and reflects the dynamic and vibrant atmosphere we want to create in our work environment. We expect people to work very hard, contribute ideas and enjoy working with us.
We are a start up business and the team will have 3-4 people initially, with the intention to grow to 7-8 people by the end of the first year. Our staff will be a mix of telesales and web builders and there needs to be a good understanding between the sales and production elements of our business.

Job Description
The prime responsibility of this role is to sell websites to sole traders and small businesses. Each telesales person will be expected to do the following:
* Telesales Cold calling (100 calls upwards per day)
* Create new leads
* Follow up leads
* Update lead sheet in Excel
* Deal with emails/correspondence
* Work in target driven environment
* Keep accurate records of their work activity
Skill Requirements
* Experience in telesales is useful but not essential. It is more important that you believe in the product and that you can create rapport easily with a wide range of individuals
* I.T Savvy
* MS Office experience (esp. Excel)
* Excellent telephone manner
* Interest in Web Design (not essential)
* Able to deliver a sale from start to finish
* Well organized and able to prioritise effectively
* Very good communicator who can handle objections, explain ideas clearly and can gain commitment from interested customers
Package
We are still organising a final commission payment system - with OTE likely to be £300-£500 per week (uncapped).
