Osborne Training Services (OTS) is a highly skilled operational division within the OEL Group and is a market leader in industrial training for equipment and services in the power generation field and related industries. Our Training and Consultancy division is realizing significant and continued growth and we wish to recruit further resources to complement our pool of Technical Training Instructors.
OTS currently has a vacancy for an instructor/trainer covering the fields of instrumentation and control. As part of this role the successful candidate will require to have an extensive knowledge of instrumentation and calibration principles covering measurement of pressure, level, temperature and flow. Further experience and knowledge of control systems is desirable and a good knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) would be extremely useful. OTS will offer to train the candidate as regards the operations of different power generation equipment such that the candidate can familiarise themselves with the control principle as would be used in most types of rotating equipment and Gas Turbines in particular. The successful person would then be expected to quickly come up to speed as regards delivery of courses that focus particularly on control systems (Speedtronic/Sentinel) as would be used in most modern Power Stations. These would be covering Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Boilers and would also include DCS (Distributed Control) Systems.
Skills required :- The candidate should have an HNC or above in an electrical/electronic/control or instrumentation discipline.
