XKeys Ltd runs XUK, an activities camp based at New Eccles Hall School near Attleborough and XUK English, a language school based at St Josephs College in Ipswich.
The camps are attended by students aged 6 to 17 with a total of 250 children attending each week over the summer.
A typical day at XUK includes a varied programme of activities mainly held on site with a trip off site scheduled for at least once per week. A typical day at XUK English includes English classes in the morning followed by activities in the afternoon and evening with a trip off site scheduled for at least once per week.

Jobs available at camp for 2012 include:
Management roles joining other members of our existing management team:
Lead the staff team including checking staff are doing their jobs correctly and dealing with discipline issues or staff problems
Oversee childrens pastoral care, including taking charge of incidents of misbehaviour, arguments, homesickness and bullying
Liaise with catering staff, caretakers, cleaners and other school staff to ensure the camp runs smoothly
Liaise with the other residential camp and head office in London to ensure policies and procedures are implemented consistently across both camps
Oversee cleanliness, hygiene and maintenance on the whole site, ensuring that the school staff/children are informed if things are not being done properly
Lead a team through any regulatory (OFSTED) inspection
Office roles to:
Read and countersign all incident reports, accident reports and Matrons paperwork to ensure all are being dealt with properly and no further action needs to be taken
Manage the finances on camp includes childrens pocket money and petty cash
Manage timetables and staffing rotas including time off and different duties
Organising children into dormitories and activity groups relevant to age and friendship groups
Hours:
XUK: Full time from 6th July to 19th August 2012
XUK English: Full time from 13th July to 12th August 2012.
There is also the possibility to work in our London Head Office before camp starts to help prepare different aspects of the camp before the children arrive.
Accommodation: This is a residential position. All accommodation and food is provided
Salary: In the region of £250 - £500 per week depending on experience, qualifications and interview. Accommodation and food are provided in addition to salary.
What you need?
- Have experience managing a team or dealing with the administrative tasks detailed above
- Ideally experience in childcare or with a childcare provider (not essential)
- Be very well presented
- Be friendly and enthusiastic
- Be organised and willing to lead a team to ensure the highest quality of care for children
