Role:
Dynamic contract caterers require an experienced Chef de Partie to join their kitchen brigade at this high profile unit based in Canary Wharf. As Chef de Partie you will be expected to be capable of running a busy section in the kitchen to the highest standard whilst assisting with the development of the Commis Chefs, but also thinking on your feet.
Requirements:
A Chef de Partie who has developed all round kitchen skills within a high volume but quality establishment would be ideal for this position. Candidates who are capable of training others whilst motivating themselves to perform are needed at this unit. The ideal candidate for this role would be enthusiastic, innovative and have a great culinary passion. Provide a certificate of a minimum of level 2 NVQ in food production.
Duties Include:
Support the Head Chef and Sous chef with the day to day running of the kitchen
Take charge of your department whilst supporting Commis Chefs and Porters with day to day business.
Compliancy with food hygiene and health and safety procedures
Bring innovative ideas to the table and assist with developing skills within your team.
Delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Serve and deliver food quickly and efficiently to our standards.
Make customers aware of offers on our great food and drink range
Be involved and contribute at team meetings.
Carry out instructions given by the management team and head office
Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and workbooks
Salaried at £18,000 per year
Monday to Friday with 28 days holiday (inclusive of Bank holidays)
Business closed between Christmas & New Year
