We are looking for someone who lives locally, enjoys and has experience with caring for children, to help us look after Joaquin aged 6 and Sofia aged 4. Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Key responsibilities are to get the children up, ready and to school in the morning, pick up from school and take them to after-school clubs and friends houses, having friends round to play, helping with homework (reading, writing, spelling and simple maths) and planning and cooking good food for them. During any free time we would expect help with small jobs around the house (loading the dishwasher, washing machine, sorting the kids clothes, tidying the kids bedroom...)
The children like to play outside, listening to stories, chatting, arts and crafts and generally messing around.

Hours:
Monday Friday 7.00-9.00am, 3.00 7.00pm (30 hours) with additional occasional babysitting and full day in school holidays optional.

Salary: £8+ based on experience

Start date: 7th-14th May 2012

Essential requirements: (please only respond if you have these)
Fluent English and Spanish
Experience of looking after children (not necessarily qualifications)
Checkable references
Willingness to have a CRB check
