We are looking for a live in male au pair to look after our five lovely children ages 10 (boy), 7 (boy), 7 (girl), 5 (boy) and 5 (girl) in our beautiful home with large garden off Newington Green, North London.
DUTIES
• Take children to and from school (very close to the house)and to clubs and activities
• Cook for the children and family
• Bath the children and get them in pyjamas
• Clean and tidy the house
• All laundry and ironing
• Play with the children and listen to them
• Supervise/help with homework and other educational activities
• Speak Spanish to the children and help them to learn the language
• Other duties as needed e.g. cleaning out the car, mowing the lawn, shopping
Our manny, George, will work with you 3.30- 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
HOURS
School term time
Monday to Friday: 7.30-9.00am; 3.30-7.00pm +2.5 hours during the day
Saturday: 7- 10am (optional)

School holidays
Monday to Friday: 7.30am - 7pm; Saturday: 7-10am (optional)
Babysitting twice a week

Additional hours:
You will also be expected to stay at home if children are off school sick or to wait for trades people / deliveries; this will be paid extra
We are looking for someone
- With childcare experience
- Reliable – prepared to commit to the job for at least six months
- A native Spanish speaker (must speak Spanish with the kids) but also fluent in English
- Good at cooking and ironing
- Naturally tidy
- Flexible, calm and caring
- Late 20s/30’s
- Hard working – this is a busy job and fun as well

The children want someone
- Kind
- Not bossy and doesn’t shout
- Cares about them when they are hurt
- Plays with them
- And let’s them eat chocolate whenever they like!! (which is not going to happen)
You will have a double room with TV and Wi-fi, use of the children’s computer in the evening, all board and lodging, plus £140 per week net (+£21 if you choose to work Saturday mornings). Paid bank holidays and four weeks paid holiday a year. Additional hours will be paid at £7/hour (this will add approx £120/week in the school holidays).
