We are looking for a qualified and experienced playworker to join our team four afternoons a week at our busy after school club. The successful candidate must have a full and relevant level three qualification and have experience of working with children aged 4-11, with knowledge of the EYFS. The hours of work will be 2.45pm to 5.45pm Monday-Thursday. The successful candidate will be CRB checked and must provide two references. The rate of pay will be £7.67 per hour and we need someone to start from the 8th January.
Our club is called Elizabeth's After School Club and we provide after school care for Elmlea Infant and Junior Schools. We run from Northcote Scout Hall in Westbury-On-Trym. We take up to 50 children per day and provide a selection of activities for them to take part in. The person who gets this job will be required to be a keyworker for some of our reception aged children and for a child with SEN. This will involve settling the children into the club, getting to know them and their interests and liaising with their parents. You will need to be enthusiastic, reliable and responsible and able to work within a team.
