successful candidate for this role will be working within a small, agile development team, helping to deliver a product roadmap in a fast paced mobile telecommunications environment.

Responsibilities

1) Senior Developer responsible for designing, developing and implementing small to large technical modules with a high level of complexity.
2) Maintain and proactively contribute to the Agile development team
Providing guidance to other developers in technical design and proper technique.

Desired Skills & Experience
Technical skills

* 5 years Java development
* 3 years JEE server side development
* At least 2 years RDBMS experience preferably SQL
* Some of the above preferably gained in the mobile telecommunications sector

Technical experience

* Developing complex Java based solutions
* Design and integration of Java components within an enterprise environment
* Ability to take architectural vision, communicate and implement it as working solutions
* Ability to analyse, maintain and evolve existing solutions
* Strong working knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycles with good practical experience of agile methodologies
