CARE ASSISTANT

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A FULL SHIFT PATTERN, FULL TIME, INCLUDING NIGHTS

Experience essential.

Negotiable rates of pay depending upon experience.

Opportunity for experienced Care Assistants wishing to further their career with an established but expanding home. Duties will be dependent on experience, but will include:

Dispensing medication (training provided)
Assisting elderly residents with personal care
Preparing meals
Minor domestic duties, such as laundry
Planning and participating in activities and outings
Assisting with social events for residents family & friends

Other duties involve being the key worker for some individual residents. You will also be required to keep accurate documentation on a computerised care planning system.

There will be opportunities for promotion for successful candidates with the neccessary attributes, who demonstrate the necessary abilities. Appropriate qualifications are desirable, but correct attitude and aptitude are essential. Training opportunities are provided, according to the successful applicant's needs.

Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure (DBS)-cost to be met by applicant.

SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A FULL SHIFT PATTERN, FULL TIME, INCLUDING NIGHTS

Experience essential.

Opportunity for experienced Senior Care Assistants wishing to further their career with an established but expanding home. Duties will be dependent on experience, but will include:

Supervision of care staff
Review of care plans
Planning & supervision of activities
Dispensing medication
Assisting elderly residents with personal care
Preparing meals and any minor domestic duties, such as laundry
Planning and supervising outings
Assisting in planning of social events for residents family & friends

This post also involves liaising with GPs, Social Workers, District Nurses, etc. Other duties involve being the key worker for some individual residents. You will also be required to keep accurate documentation on a computerised care planning system.

You will also be responsible for managing a team and assisting in management.

There will be opportunities for accelerated promotion for successful candidates with the neccessary attributes. Appropriate qualifications are desirable, but correct attitude and aptitude are essential. Training opportunities are provided, according to the successful applicant's needs.
