A Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Lambeth is looking to recruit a Special Needs teacher to begin a long term post.
This is a long term placement and will involve working with children who are on the autistic spectrum. In order to provide stability for the children all applicants must be able to commit to five days a week until the end of the summer term.
All applicants must have experience working with autistic children. The ideal candidate would also have a working knowledge of PECS and TEACCH, but those who have used Makaton would also be considered.
This is a very good school and the Headteacher is very passionate and hard working and expects the same high standards from her staff. The school has very good internal structures in place to ensure that the pupils and staff are very well supported.
