SEN Teacher (Autism)

A school with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) pupils requires an enthusiastic teacher who holds QTS and is familiar with PECS and Makaton.

The pupils are of secondary age and are taught in very small classes, with high staff to child ratios. Experience with autistic children is essential and other complementary special needs experience will be advantageous.

In return this school based in the London Borough of Hackney offers a supportive environment and the required facilities to facilitate learning.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
* You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
