LOOKING FOR CAMERA OPERATOR/ EDITOR/ FILM MAKER/COMEDY LOVER

Comedy Acting School for kids - Big Comedy Shop based in Chorlton, Manchester are looking to expand their media team for freelance work.

This summer 2012 Big Comedy Shop are holding comedy clubs for kids where we are looking for a camera operator and editor - who has their own camera and editing suite to film and edit a montage of work produced by our kids.

We are looking at 6 filming dates spread out over Thursdays and Fridays - 3 hours a day - over end of July and August - the project will be capturing some of the workshop work we do with the kids - maybe a few random sketches the kids have come up with - possible work with our green screen and some random character clips - good ref is the links in between Facejacker - random comedy! Please also see fimed work we have done in the past on our channel as this is the style we are looking for - funky, fast paced, colourful, with great sound tracks - so someone with great ear for music would be great too.

This project would be used as a way of seeing how we work with this media guru - as we have other media work through our education side of work - where we offer comedy film packages to be made with schools, colleges and youth services etc - where the budget stretches a lot more.

We are ideally looking for someone with a great energy and personality who is great with kids - who currently has a CBR check or would be willing to get one through us - who loves comedy and is great at film making and editing and open to kids' random ideas! Someone who has their own equipment can burn copies of DVDs and can edit brilliantly and has own editing stuff - also based near Chorlton would be a bonus and if you had your own transport even better as we do travel for work in North West.

This summer job is paid but we are working to a set budget but as I have said we are looking for someone who we can continue to work with ideas for kids comedy pilots on as well as more set filmed work with us at schools etc in the future.
