Are you looking for some part-time work, that pays well, is enjoyable and only requires you to work at weekends? Final question : do you like chocolate ?

Start your own Children's Chocolate Party business in 2014!

After 3 years of success in Scotland we are looking for people with excellent personal skills, bubbly personalities and self-motivation by the bucket load – the chance to own their run their own local franchise of Rock Lobster Chocolate Parties. We are looking for a number of people to cover the Scottish Borders; from Kelso to Berwick, Hawick to Lockerbie and Dumfries and Galloway. Depending on where you live, the territories will be defined based on where you can feasibly travel for a party.

If you're a parent, you probably recognise that everyone tends to splash out on a children's birthday. Some more than others... and parents deserve to enjoy their child's party too, so hiring someone in to do a bouncy castle, magic show... chocolate making (yum) is quite the norm these days. Take a look at the party services in your area, you are unlikely anybody running a chocolate party business, the market is yours for the taking. In my small community of Dunbar, in South Scotland, I have a party almost every weekend and a lot of my business is word of mouth.

You need to be ready to run your own business, with some money to invest in materials, however, we’ve done the hard work for you and after your training day you'll be able to temper and work with chocolate ... and call it your job! Working with chocolate, children and to a time limit can take time to master, so these factors are the focus of your training, where you will walk away ready to begin your new venture.

This is a franchise, meaning your business is established by us but owned by you and operated solely by you in your defined local area. Our first FIVE chocolate party people who start their business in Jan/Feb, all receive a discounted rate of 30% off their franchise fee in return for regular feedback you settle into your new role. We have 2 of these places left.

Your own website is ready, your branded Aprons, hats, bags and stickers are in stock, the plans and formulas are finely tuned, we just need the right people with the drive to take their territory on and develop an enjoyable job and successful franchise.

If you feel this is a job that will fit in with your routine, perhaps you're a juggling mum like me, then get in touch, you'll have a ball and make a profit of £80-£100 per 1 hour party.

You'll need to:
Be good at teaching to others/ delivering demonstrations
Have lots of enthusiasm to work with and teach children about chocolate
Be organised and professional when working with parents.
Have some initial funding available to buy your chocolate and tools (bowls, spatulas, trays, cocoa butter transfers, sweets and chocolate curls etc.)

Please get in touch with some details about yourself and your CV and in return I will send you the business franchise profile to read through. If you are interested you will be invited for a telephone chat and if both parties are happy to proceed your one-day training will be arranged.
