Pyjama Drama provides fun, creative drama classes; combining drama, movement, music and play, to babies, toddlers and children up to 7 years of age. Our unique programme is currently being delivered across the UK, including Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, and high demand for classes outside these areas means we are looking for new people to join us.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and ambitious person to run their own franchised business in their area.
In addition to teaching the Pyjama Drama programme to children in nurseries, playgroups, preschools, schools, in 'public' sessions and at parties, you would be responsible for developing and growing your business (with our full support).
Our franchisees come from a wide range of different and varied backgrounds, you don’t need to be a trained teacher but we do require that you have:
A love of play drama
Experience of being with children (in a work role or as a parent)
A warm, friendly and positive nature
Ambition, drive, honesty and integrity
Our programme, developed over a period of six years has been enjoyed by literally thousands of young children (and their parents!) and is:
Supported by Pyjama Drama music - over seventy original songs written especially to further develop creative skills
Written to support the current requirements of the National Curriculum
Drama based - we use drama and improvisation to empower young children
Inclusive of all children - the programme aims to develop key social skills such as concentration, cooperation and confidence
