Ayurveda Pura is a luxurious day spa offering a wide range beauty, Ayurvedic and other holistic treatments. Situated in Greenwich, London, our purpose-built spa facilities comprise 4 treatment rooms, 2 shower rooms, a yoga studio and a vegetarian gourmet health café. It is also home to the Ayurveda Pura Academy, which offers world-renowned therapist training.
We are currently looking for a part-time receptionist to support the existing team in our beautiful high end spa. The candidate should be hard-working, positive minded, a good team player, enthusiastic, have strong self initiative, and have a vibrant and engaging personality, excellent written and oral English language communication skills.
Previous Reception experience essential.
Ability to work flexible hours during the week and also one day per weekend. Weekday shifts are 10 am 8 pm.
Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, management and co-workers.
Able to work in a fast paced working environment and remain calm under pressure.
Possess a good command of English and has excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
A knowledge and passion for massage therapies and holistic health.
Ability to effectively communicate with guests; and to explain the businesses policies and procedures.
Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Principle duties include:
Providing excellent service to members/guests by answering phone calls, setting appointments, greeting guests upon arrival and selling gift vouchers and products. You will also be responsible for processing payments and answering any queries that clients may have.
Assists in maintaining a professional front desk and reception area.
Assists in administrative tasks including filing, and employee folder maintenance.
Create excellent experience for guests through friendly and helpful attitude.
Help maintain cleanliness of Spa.
