Purchase Ledger Specialists

To keep track of stock, evaluate vendor shipments and ensure the products created and used by a company are delivered smoothly by the post holder working in the area of purchase ledger is employed. The post holder will work with associated businesses within the Group and closely with shipping and receiving departments within the company, as well as with managers. On the other end, they keep in contact with accounting departments by providing them with accurate financial statements and supplier reports.
Excellent communication skills and an aptitude for IT and computer programs are important requirements in this job.

Salaries start at around £20,000 depending on experience.

Hours of Work 8.00am to 17.00pm Mon to Fri with one hour lunch and additional hours may be required to complete your tasks within busy periods and meet deadlines.

Purchase Ledger specialist will closely monitor the expenditure of a company. They must always be conscious of all the purchases made by their company. Post holder must keep all records for six years in order for audit at any time, of products and services bought by the business, keeping a clear reference system.
To effectively perform post holder must work with various applications to figure out payments generate and code invoices, pay for services, and produce cheques. They maintain close relationships with suppliers and network with them to maintain good relationship.
