Project Worker
Up to £23,588 p.a. + £1,500 (London weighting) = up to £25,088 p.a.
Fixed term, until 31st December 2013
South West London (Kingston, Merton, Sutton, Richmond Croydon and Wandsworth)

Our mission is to secure the inclusion of all children and young people into mainstream education and training, to enable them to participate as full members of their communities. Our projects work with up to 1,000 young people each year in 28 local authorities across England and Wales.

As Project Worker in South West London you will be required to:

• Work with young people between ages 14-19
• Use varied approaches to engage and sustain engagement of young people
• Provide one-to-one mentoring support
• Arrange an activity based programme on personal, social and developmental skills
• Complete relevant paperwork accurately
• Work according to deadlines to meet targets
• Be flexible in working patterns
• Be accountable for quality of work
• Work as part of a team as well as on your own.

It is essential you have experience of working with disaffected adolescents both on a 1:1 basis and in groups, gained in a work setting. Ideally, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent (NVQ 4) in a relevant professional discipline.
