Temporary Product Coordinator – Maternity Cover
Starting 7th January 2013 duration 10/12 months
The Company
Fine Décor Wallcoverings is a manufacturing plant located in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. We have a vacancy for a full time temporary Product Coordinator to support our busy sales and design team. This role will be predominantly be looking after one of Fine Décor’s key accounts, a well-known high street retailer, who we supply wallpaper to on an exclusive basis. Reporting to our Business Development Manager, office hours are 8.30 to 5pm with an hour unpaid lunch (making a 37.5 hour week).
The Role
The Product Coordinator will be responsible for (but not limited to):
• Project managing the critical path and associated administration for new product through its stages of design, proofing, production, right through to delivery.
• Working under pressure to achieve exact product specifications with short lead times.
• Being the main point of contact, ensuring effective communication for the customer and all internal departments throughout the process.
• Managing the ‘content list’ which records customer’s precise requirements.
The Person
The successful candidate will:
• Have recent, relevant project management and administration experience (essential)
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (essential)
• Good computer skills, mainly excel (essential)
• Be a flexible, hardworking team player with strong initiative (essential)
• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or product driven environment (desirable)
