Cake Studios – contemporary prints for the fashion market

Print design studio based in Crystal Palace area looking for part-time designer/studio support to work 2 or 3 days a week. Role to include design time and also general studio admin to assist with the running of our fun small studio.

Roles to include:
- Sewing and make up of all swatches created by the studio (good machine skills essential!)
- Designing of print patterns for the International fashion market
- Gathering of trend information
- Supply of digital files to our customers
- General office admin

This is a mixed role where your time will be spent either designing or helping with the general running of the studio. You will need to have great design print skills relevant to the contemporary fashion market worldwide. Be commercially aware, creative and passionate about textiles and fashion.
Applicant should also be literate in Photoshop, Illustrator and be happy to work on a Mac. You’ll also need to have good organisational skills as at least 50% of your time will be spent on studio support.
