Located in the heart of Haringey, this 2 form entry has been recently taken over by a very reputable executive head teacher brought in to improve and develop the school in all aspects. The immediate focus and requirement of the head teacher is to bring on board an experienced KS2 teacher who can work across the 4 year 3-4 classes in order to help raise attainment and improve pupil progress. This will be a full time role, initially on an agency contract for the remainder of the year.

The school is large with a diverse catchment and wide range of EAL & SEN pupils from Nursery through to year 6. The student population has a high mobility, with pupils joining and leaving the school throughout the year. Applicants need to be flexible and able to work independently due to the nature of both the school and role available.
Leading the school is a fantastic executive head with a stellar reputation within the borough. Drafted in to ensure the school makes significant improvements, she is focused on finding an experienced and versatile Primary Teacher who can join the team ASAP, working as a booster teacher across years 3 and 4. You will also be asked to take planned cover, during which time your colleagues will be released for an hour to undergo CPD and PPA. Due to your post being full time and an important focus within the school, you will be asked to plan and prepare for your own classes and be timetabled your own PPA time.
This is an ideal role for someone looking for 'something different'; a post which will see you work closely with pupils across the 4 lower Key Stage 2 classes aiming to raise attainment and support those of lower ability.
Staff here work hard and as a cohesive team within this inner city school. With clear direction and consistent support from the newly structured SLT, you will become part of an effective teaching team who have worked hard to raise standards in teaching and learning. Applicants need to be experienced, UK trained and would suit somebody versatile, positive and keen to take on such a post.
